Northern Pacific Railway 394 on Train # 26, the eastbound North Coast Limited, at Aurora, Illinois on November 1, 1965, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. Number 394 was built by Pullman-Standard in 1948 as a 4 Double Bedroom – 1 Compartment ( 4-1 ) sleeper observation and named MONTANA CLUB. The observation lounge area included a small buffet kitchen. It was re-decorated to conform to the Loewy interior styling of 1954.
