This was taken on August 5, 1968 at the 10th Street “Roundhouse” serving Louisville Union Station. The units on the left have brought the southbound Pan-American in this day, and the two on the right (an E6 and E7) will replace them and take the train on to Nashville and points south (the “Pan” was a Cincinnati-New Orleans train).
