I caught CB&Q NW2 9223 (built in 1946) with a way freight twice on August 8, 1965.

At Somonauk, IL, about 25 miles southwest (RR west) of Aurora on the double-track main to Galesburg. The way freight went in the hole for what looks like the California Zephyr. And you better believe it was zephyring. Both trains were eastbound.
